A calm day at Boiler Bay with very low numbers of migrating birds. However, this gave good opportunities to watch migrating gray whales and at least four could be counted moving north. Another Fork-tailed Stom-petrel was seen today giving good  views at the same distance as yesterday. Counting time:06:10-11:10. 31 species of seabirds counted. Weather, sunny and hazy with moderate wind, 5 m/s (11mph) from west.
